Chatteris is a compact Fenland town on the A141, half an hour from Fengate, with a High Street of older brick and a ring of post-war and later housing. It does not generate the same search volume as March or Ely, which is why it used to be buried in someone else’s copy. It is a real town we actually fit in.

The older properties toward Park Street and the church take flush sash and a careful composite door.
